Leyland is open throughout the year (excluding Bank Holidays), our Ofsted inspection in 2022 and was awarded an 'GOOD' grading, which demonstrates that the setting is providing excellent practice in all areas. This recognition from Ofsted shows that Nursery provides children with an excellent quality of learning and care experiences, which will set them on the right path for a brighter future. It also shows the commitment of our brilliant staff team in giving each child the best start in life possible. We encourage feedback from both parents and staff because we recognise that this is the main way in which we can improve. Communication with parents has a major part to play in this. Transition through each area (babies, toddlers, pre-school and then finally the move to school) is handled sensitively and is carefully planned for each child. We are lucky to be able to offer two play areas one dedicated to the younger children (two years and below) and the other for children three and over.
