First Footsteps is a great nursery. My little boy started around two and half years old, the nursery have been great with him, he has additional needs which were picked up at this nursery. I have received lots of support from the manager and his key worker is great and really understands him. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been part of First Footsteps nursery since 12 weeks old. I personally find the service outstanding. We are provided with daily updates on my daughter’s progress and what she has been learning, so I can reinforce at home. I am fully happy with the service we are provided.

I am almost at the end of my wonderful journey with First Footsteps. I'll be very sad to no longer be part of this lovely nursery. My 3rd child leaves in a couple of weeks as she starts school in September. All 3 of my children have attended First Footsteps over the last 11 and a half years. I have 3 very sociable children with a thirst for learning. The staff here have encouraged them every step of the way. Each child has a key worker and they form strong bonds with the children. I can only describe it as a kind of extended family. My children were left at nursery each day with people who I wholeheartedly trusted and who I knew had the best interests of my children at heart. The skills they have learnt and the friendships they have made will go with them once they leave the nursery. I consider myself very lucky to have found such a wonderful childcare setting and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for childcare for their children.

My daughter is developing really well and comes home after nursery telling us what she has done that day. I believe the nursery and the staff make attending nursery like a home from home environment. My daughter loves attending the nursery which gives us as parents the comfort we need to be able to go to work knowing she is in safe hands. I would recommend the nursery to others.

My two children aged 4 and 2 have both been attending First Footsteps since being around 9 months old. I moved my eldest daughter here from another nursery and this was the best choice I ever made. My girls have grown and developed amazingly and I can see how much progression they have both made since starting. The staff here are like family now as we all have a great bond, and they treat our children like there own. I give nothing but praise to First Footsteps and I know for sure My eldest will be sad to leave in September. Thanks for all your hard work!

To see my little girl, grow in confidence in all areas is a parents dream and both myself and my partner are extremely grateful. My only regret is that I didn’t send her at an earlier age.

Staff are very approachable, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The manager really makes me and my two children very welcome. I visited a vast amount of nursery’s’ and this was the best I had seen. First Footsteps nursery is a fantastic nursery. My middle son I felt was not receiving what he needed to gain his full potential, at his previous nursery so I went and visited first footsteps, I loved it so I moved him there. The transition was so easy he didn't struggle, he made lots of friends and loved being at First Footsteps. After just 2 weeks of him being at there he knew all his colours shapes and numbers and came on massively. He’s in reception now and is a very clever boy and First Footsteps made him that way.
My youngest currently attends First Footsteps and absolutely loves it. The variety of different activities they do is fantastic. I wouldn't want them at any other nursery. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming and work really hard making sure your child reaches all their milestones! The manager always goes above and beyond with support and is always there. If your looking for a fantastic nursery choose First Footsteps 👣 your will not be disappointed:-) best nursery by far!!!

My twins have been at this nursery since they were babies, and I am amazed by what they have learned and how they have developed. The staff know, care about and treat them as individuals. They regularly come home with lovely photos, cards and pictures. They get an included sit down dinner and snack, feedback at the end of the day, and organised trips and outings. The manager is incredibly helpful and supportive with all elements of the childcare minefield, and I can't thank and praise the manager and the brilliant staff enough. The twins are leaving this year to start primary school, (and they even get a 'graduation' photo and ceremony!). The rates are very competitive and they are as flexible as they can be to help with individual childcare needs. This nursery has been invaluable, they enjoy and look forward to going, and I am sad that it is time for them to leave.

Fantastic staff with great knowledge of child psychology, great empathy and patience to deal with children as individual persons who are heard and encouraged to thrive enjoying learning through play. Every month there is a theme to encourage new adventures and experiences and each day is different but with routine, making the children feel safe in new adventures. Thank you for over two years of fun whilst developing my child's personality and preparing him for school, you are all amazing.

I was made aware of First Footsteps Nursery as it came highly recommend to me. I was in need of a more educational setting for my little girl.
I asked for taster day and Debbie was extremely helpful in getting this arranged for me. Me and my little girl went to visit and the focus throughout was my little girl. Involving her in the discussion, showing her around and making her feel welcome. My little one fitted in straight away. So much so she didn’t want to leave!
Needless to say I signed up that day.
Going forward the whole staffing team have been amazing. Always putting the needs of the children first. They are great at communicating with both me and my husband and my little girl is shinning because of all their support.
I would highly recommend this nursery for anyone who is in need.
